SPECIAL PROJECTS

Occasionally some projects defy typical classification — a structural component of an art installation, a unique retrofit of an antiquated framing system, or a once-in-a-career kind of structure to design. These are the kinds of jobs we enjoy most and find the most intellectually fulfilling. They require not only sound engineering, but also creativity, judgment, and the ability to adapt to changing information quickly. We take these on selectively, often for long-term clients or teams who need a structural partner offering personalized service and that can stay nimble and think through unusual problems. If it’s a project that doesn’t come with a standard set of drawings, we’re interested. In fact, that’s often where we do our best work.
